Chair Mayor Izet Mexhiti announced that he will greenlight the protest for support of KLA fighters currently prosecuted by the Tribunal at the Hague, which is to take place this Saturday in Chair. Mexhiti said that he supports the protest, but did not reveal whether he will attend it or not.
“The protest is a democratic human right, and KLA is our national pride. Henceforth, we will allow the protest to take place, and we hope it will be conducted peacefully”, Mexhiti stated for Vox Kosova.
DUI leader Ali Ahmeti already voiced support for the protest and announced he will attend it, while PM Hristijan Mickoski said that he does not support it, adding that after it DUI will face difficulties in finding political allies in future.
