Bogica Todorovska, mother of a girl that suffered injuries in a car accident caused by Levica MP Sashko Janchev, has now requested for Janchev to be stripped from his MP immunity.
In her letter addressed to the Parliament, Todorovska argues that there is possibility for Janchev to abuse his official position and MP immunity in order to avoid responsibility over the accident since no bill of indictment has been filed against him yet.
The accident occurred on September 14 2025, when Janchev with his vehicle Hyundai Tyson hit a motorcycle driven by a 16-year-old boy, who died at the scene of the accident, while his co-passenger on the motorcycle, 13-year-old daughter of Todorovska, was severely injured.
