The Ministry of Interior informed that a great police action was conducted on Wednesday morning in the Skopje settlements of Chair, Chento, Indzikovo, as well as in Arachinovo and Brest.
The action resulted with the arrest of 12 people, all suspected of illegal possession of weapons, illegal trade with weapons and criminal association, and one of the arrested is also suspected of production and trade with illegal drugs.
According to the Interior Ministry, the suspects between April and December 2025 established a criminal gang that conducted the aforementioned activities, illegally procuring weapons from Kosovo. Criminal charges have been filed against all suspects, and if proven guilty, they will face prison sentences.
