In 2020, In the trial over the Racketeering case, the Criminal Court sentenced her to seven years in prison for abuse of official position and authority. The sentence was confirmed over one year afterwards by the Appellate Court. She will now have the obligation to report to the Criminal Court on a regular basis until the end of her sentence.
