Pecov Request Rejected, Stafa Issued 30-Day Detention Measure

Ljupcho Pecov, who’s charged in the Chain case and is at large, will be detained once he’s found. The decision was made unanimously by the Appellate Court, who rejected at the start of December his request to be out on bail.

The Pecov matter has become topical since his attorney, former State Attorney Fehmi Stafa, was arrested on suspicion of bribery, i.e. with money on him which he was allegedly supposed to use to bribe a judge for the detention measure against his client to be abolished.
