PM Mickoski in Interview with Sitel

In an interview with Sitel on Monday, PM Mickoski, regarding the procedure to dismiss Kocevski as Prosecutor General, again said the government wasn’t satisfied with the results.

In that regard, the PM stressed that much more was expected of Kocevski’s successor, saying that the person should be a professional and fighter for justice.

When it comes to U.K. media reports about the issue of migrant camps in North Macedonia, Mickoski said they were not true. In that regard, he again criticized SDSM over, as he pointed out, sowing fear and panic among citizens.

“When it comes to the EU path, he said the government wouldn’t enter a constitutional changes process without two key conditions being met. The first one is about clear guarantees about the Macedonian identity and language”, he explained, stressing in that regard that the process had to be based on the Copenhagen criteria.

The second obligation, the PM noted, is about Bulgaria fulfilling obligations for registration of NGOs, such as OMO Ilinden Pirin, in accordance with 14 ECHR verdicts.
