Greece’s Foreign Ministry has reacted to statements by PM Mickoski, stressing in a press release that the country’s constitutional and internationally recognized name is “North Macedonia”, according to the Prespa Agreement.
“We recall that the constitutional name of the neighboring state is “North Macedonia”, as clearly provided for in Article 1 of the Prespa Agreement, to which it is a party. The Prespa Agreement constitutes an integral part of the Constitution of North Macedonia and is fully binding on both Parties at both the international and domestic levels”, it said in a press release.
