Telma: EC Decided to Fully Suspend IPARD III Program December 10

According to Telma information, the EC decided, as early as December 10, to fully suspend the IPARD III program, while domestic institutions were notified several days ago.

However, the Government has said it hasn’t received such a notification. According to details of the EC’s protocol, Telma reports, the suspension is being introduced due to the involvement of the now-dismissed Payment Agency Director, Ilija Stoilev, in a corruption case, despite the proper measures taken by the national coordinator.

The IPARD III program amounts to 97 million and 37 euros in European and national funds, respectively. The implementation period, started in 2023, lasts until December 31, 2030.
