In an interview with the 360 Degrees program, Foreign Minister Mucunski says the country’s focused on starting Visa Waiver talks with the U.S. The expectations, he adds, are for the matter to be raised during the Strategic Dialogue in Washington in the first half of 2026.
Asked about the position of the U.S. on the region and EU in the context of the different documents coming from the White House and Capitol Hill, the Minister says different approaches are not something unusual in U.S. foreign policy.
When it comes to the issue of migration, the Minister says no migrants whatsoever will be admitted to the country on the basis of any form of agreement with the U.K. He stresses that the opposition is spreading panic even though government has clearly denied such claims.
