In Skopje, on Monday afternoon, officers removed from traffic a Mercedes driven by N. Ninevski, former member of the Interior Ministry’s Sixth Directorate. The car was registered to the company of Infomax Editor Aleksandar Mitovski.
Police sources told the Radio Lider medium that day that officers had found a gun magazine on Ninevski, who, according to the report, was afterwards detained and taken to the BEKO Police Station, where he was giving a statement.
Ninevski was a security detail of former U.S. Ambassador Baily, Radio Lider added. After his retirement, he also worked for former Skopje Mayor Arsovska. There are close family ties between Ninevski and Mitovski.
