60 officials (10 judges, 10 public prosecutors, 10 MPs, 10 ministers, 10 mayors, and 10 people whose mayoral term ended this year) will be covered by the SCPC’s Annual Plan for 2026 to monitor the asset and conflict of interest situation.
Their names will be determined in January. Following Tuesday’s passage of the Plan, SCPC President Adem Cucul stated that EC recommendations had been taken into consideration, adding that a decision had been made to increase the number of officials that would be covered.
The session saw SCPC members adopt the Annual Plan for an anticorruption check of legislation for 2026 as well.
