President Siljanovska Davkova has nominated, to Parliament, two candidates for Judicial Council membership. However, additional information hasn’t been presented.
“We inform you that following the expiration of the vacatio legis and entry into force of the new Law on Judicial Council, the President has submitted a nomination for candidates for Judicial Council members”, her Cabinet points out.
In her New Year’s interview with MTV1, the President said she would nominate two women-reformers, i.e. a professor and an attorney, both of whom had a big reputation in society.
