Mucunski Comments on U.S. Immigrant Visa, Greenland, and Iran Situation

The decision by the U.S. to freeze visa immigrant processing for 75 countries, including North Macedonia, doesn’t affect visas for students, businesspersons, tourists, and other categories, Foreign Minister Mucunski pointed out on Thursday.

As he added, institutions are in constant communication with the U.S. Embassy in Skopje and State Department. Mucunski also said that positive movements forward regarding the U.S. visa policy on Macedonia could be expected in the period ahead.

When it comes to how North Macedonia will position itself regarding the Greenland situation, he said he honestly wanted to believe a rational solution would be found in line with international law.

Regarding the Iran situation, no citizen of North Macedonia in that country has so far asked for assistance from the Ministry.
