On Sunday afternoon, Skopje1 said that searches were being conducted in relation to Skopje Appellate Court Judge Gjoko Ristov.
The Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption confirmed the information for the portal. Several hours later, authorities said that 350,000 euros had been found inside the wall of the home owned by the parents of a Skopje Appellate Court Judge. According to suspicions, the money was acquired unlawfully.
The procedure and searches represent an expansion of the investigation concerning the bribery case involving former State Attorney Stafa.
