The Council of Public Prosecutors has established a three-member commission to review a report submitted by prosecutor Lenche Ristoska concerning alleged pressure and accusations made by PM Hristijan Mickoski.
The commission includes members Marjana Ilieska, Ermon Neziri, and Ardijan Demiri. Ristoska filed the report after Mickoski’s recent interview, in which she claims he referred to her as a “mediocrity” operating within a “clientelist-political matrix”.
Government officials, however, responded by saying the Prime Minister’s remarks were directed at “mediocrities” in general, adding that it was unusual for Ristoska to identify herself as the subject of the statement.
