Tomovski Comments on Multiple Topics

The Government recently completed the procedure related to title deeds for seven state villas, while the further registration of other property and land domestically and abroad, from the former Yugoslavia, remains, Ivica Tomovski, head of the Government’s Service for General and Common Affairs, says.

The Government will sell, as old iron, 104 vehicles that are not used, while it is checking whether the remaining, around 100 ones, are functional for driving. Leasing services are used for 45 vehicles for the needs of state institutions, while there are not enough armored cars for foreign delegations.

When it comes to the Audit Office’s report on the work in 2024 in relation to the non-issuing of fiscal receipts and money from hospitality venues not ending up in the budget, Tomovski says that the issue was present in the first two weeks of his term and has since been resolved and profit has increased by 300%.

Regarding the part of the Report about the difference of around 70,000 euros in relation to food supplies at the hospitality venues existing on paper but not in reality, Tomovski confirms there were differences, but adds he will not share details or say whether there was misuse because the Public Security Bureau is carrying out a procedure.
