SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE Continue to Trade Accusations over Marijuana Case

Regarding the seizure of marijuana, SDSM has again said the huge scandal has exposed the Mickoski-headed government’s “deep crime”.

As the party pointed out on Monday, according to unofficial information of Serbian media, the prosecutor’s offices in both Serbia and North Macedonia received key data from the U.S. DEA.

“Due to this international cooperation, PM Mickoski hasn’t had an answer, for a week already, to the key question: How did five tons of marijuana manage to cross the border, get out of Macedonia, and enter Serbia? This silence is not a coincidence, but rather an indicator that there is truth to the claims”, it added.

However, VMRO-DPMNE again said former PM Zaev and former Health Minister and current SDSM leader Filipche were involved in the marijuana case.

According to BIRN, Aleksandar Mijajlovic, who’s a suspect in the marijuana case in Serbia, is the co-owner also of another company for cannabis for medical purposes, Green Life, based in Valandovo, North Macedonia.
