Trade Union Federation Stages Protest Blockade outside Parliament

On Tuesday, the Trade Union Federation staged a protest blockade outside Parliament. Participants said it was a response to the stuck bill aiming to increase the minimum wage.

However, the text didn’t reach the legislative house’s agenda. The Federation’s demands, a minimum wage level of 600 euros and a 100-euro increase of salaries of all other workers, have remained unchanged. Commenting on the protest, PM Mickoski stated that there was a political background.

On the other hand, SDSM leader and MP Filipche again submitted the minimum wage bill, after it had been previously returned by Speaker Gashi due to, as he said, technical shortcomings.
