Regarding the video posted on social media by VMRO-DPMNE MP Dafina Stojanoska showing him taking his kids to school by using an official car, Trade Union Federation President Slobodan Trendafilov has said his children have been exploited to exert political pressure.
As he stresses, since he is entitled to an official vehicle 24/7, he has the right to use it for own needs. Trendafilov has called on Parliament to strip the MP of her immunity.
He also says: “If our children aren’t safe because we’re demanding an increase of worker salaries, we then ask: ‘Who’s next? What’s the next thing they’re planning to do?”.
Asked by Telma about the case, Stojanoska says that as a person with a law degree, with “minimum or no length of service (except at the Trade Union Federation)”, Trendafilov should read the Constitution and Parliament’s Rules of Procedure before talking about procedures for stripping of immunity.
In that regard, she ironically remarks that if he doesn’t understand anything of what’s written, he should perhaps contact SDSM MPs. Trendafilov has reported the case to the Interior Ministry.
