There have been issues facing the start of the ad hoc committee of inquiry for the series of tragedies over the past years in which 139 people were killed.
Neither SDSM nor VMRO-DPMNE have nominated members for the body of Parliament that will need to look into circumstances related to the Laskarci and Struma crashes, as well as the Tetovo hospital and Kochani nightclub fires.
The opposition party has said that it will nominate persons even though Speaker Gashi is the one that should initiate the start. However, he says the chair of the committee should do so, while for that person to be elected, parties first have to file nominations first.
At the next coordination meeting, he will remind Coordinators about that. VMRO-DPMNE, too, has said it will nominate persons.
