The Government has rejected SDSM’s accusations over the use of the Learjet plane, saying that was done exclusively in line with acts and regulations. Each use has been recorded, documented, and subject to institutional control, it added.
“It’s especially symptomatic that the opposition is deliberately ignoring the humanitarian and statesperson-like dimension of the use of the plane in situations of urgent nature. The public knows well that the same aircraft was put in the function of saving human lives, among other things, also during transport and coordination of activities related to those injured in the tragic fire in Kochani”, it added.
VMRO-DPMNE, too, reacted, saying that during the previous cabinet’s term, DUI had used the plane for flights to Nis, while SDSM had used a helicopter to go to Prilep.
“The time of abuse of state resources is over”, the ruling party added.
