SDSM Draft Changes on Minimum Wage not Accepted at Committee Level

On Tuesday, Parliament’s Committee on Economic Affairs didn’t accept the draft changes to change the Minimum Wage Law, in first reading, submitted by SDSM.

The proposal of that party’s Parliamentary Group Coordinator, Oliver Spasovski, for a public debate and attempt for the three sides to reach a deal on an increase of the minimum wage level was rejected as well.

In the draft changes, SDSM requested for the minimum wage to increase to 600 euros for the period from March 2026 to March 2027.
