There have been new reactions to Monday’s tragedy in Karposh, when 31-year-old Ivana Jovanovska and her six-year-old daughter died after having fallen from a high-rise, after which, the now-widower, Stojanche Ivanovski was arrested and issued a detention measure.
VMRO-DPMNE has refuted SDSM’s accusations, saying that unlike during the previous cabinet’s term, there is now action against perpetrators.
When it comes to the Social Policy Ministry, its inspectors have determined shortcomings and irregularities in the action on the case by the Center for Social Works. During the supervision, they established the factual situation regarding the handling of two proceedings conducted at the Center: a divorce proceeding and a domestic violence proceeding.
“During the supervision, shortcomings and irregularities were determined in the Center’s actions, for which a proper procedure is being carried out and inspection measures are being issued in accordance with the Law. In the further course of the inspection procedure, proper activities will be taken by inspectors, in accordance with the Law”, it points out.
