During Wednesday’s session of Parliament, PM Mickoski said Turkish President Erdogan should visit Macedonia in the spring. He made those comments while answering a question from European Front MP Sali Murati, who asked several questions, one of which concerned the North Macedonia-Turkiye bilateral relations.
Though the PM said he couldn’t specify at that moment exactly when the Turkish President Erdogan would visit the country, he added he was convinced it would happen very soon because, as he noted, Turkiye has an excellent Ambassador in Skopje, Ulusoy, with whom the Government has great cooperation.
“In our conversations with the President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, we have defined that a first meeting will be held this spring, for which he will come to Skopje”, Mickoski said.
