North Macedonia has a good legal framework, but the problem is non-implementation, while there is weak social dialogue, an absence of protection against discrimination, and non-transparent advertising with state money.
That has been concluded by European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) representatives following their several-day meetings with representatives of employers, trade unions, the NGO sector, and the Government.
Next year, representatives of North Macedonia will be invited to discuss in the frames of the enlargement process, while the EESC says that the country’s progress is not as expected.
