SDSM leader Venko Filipche stated Thursday that the party remains open to all constructive opinions, but will not tolerate attempts to divide or weaken it.
Responding to a journalist’s question, Filipche emphasized that while dialogue and inclusiveness are central to SDSM’s policies, those acting in the interest of political opponents will not be allowed to influence the party’s direction. He accused the current government of being corrupt, criminal, and anti-European, arguing that its only strategy is to fragment the opposition.
Filipche underlined that citizens recognize the government’s lack of capacity, vision, and effective policies. He concluded that SDSM continues to build consensus-based policies through dialogue and diverse perspectives, stressing that openness to ideas must not be exploited for partisan agendas.
Filipche also accused VMRO-DPMNE and PM Mickoski of jeopardizing the country’s integration in the EU.
“Mickoski should tell the people who is to be responsible if our country remains isolated out of the EU. Over 70% of the citizens wish to see the country integrated in the EU, but the party in power intentionally compromises the integration processes only to save its political rating”, Filipche stated.
