All For Fair Trials Coalition’s Avramovski in Interview with RFE Macedonian

In an interview with RFE Macedonian, Darko Avramovski of the All For Fair Trials Coalition says the Council of Public Prosecutors could have and should have invited the candidates for Prosecutor General to the session where it was deciding on its opinion on them.

Regarding the Kochani fire trial, he points out the procedure should have been separated.

The acts related to causing general danger were one part of the entire case, but when it comes to the rest of the defendants, essentially, based on the description of the actions they actually took and how they contributed to a crime, it’s about classic corrupt behavior, Avramovski assesses.

“This is one of the cases that turned out to be practically collateral damage of the changes to the Criminal Code”, he underlines.
