In the frames of her visit to Croatia, President Siljanovska Davkova held a meeting with counterpart Milanovic, which was followed by a joint press conference. The former said that EU membership remained one of her country’s strategic orientations.
She added that the European integration process had to remain based on merits, reforms and meeting European criteria, instead of being burdened with bilateral historical, cultural, linguistic, and identity issues.
Croatian President Milanovic said there were too many requirements and conditions on North Macedonia’s EU road. Also, he pointed out that it decided its own path.
