Sixteen courts were efficient in 2025. 14 of them are basic courts, including the Criminal Court in Skopje. On the other hand, 18 courts were not efficient. Among them are the Supreme Court, the Higher Administrative Court, the Administrative Court, the Appellate Courts in Skopje and Bitola, and 13 basic courts.
The data is part of the Annual Report on the Work of Courts in 2025, which was on the agenda of Wednesday’s session of the Judicial Council, which was unanimously passed.
At the session, the Council also nominated Meri Dika-Georgievska of the Skopje Appellate Court as Constitutional Court Judge. 10 members voted in favor, one was against, while Antoaneta Dimovska recused herself from the item on the agenda.
Those who supported the nomination said Dika-Georgievska met all conditions and was a professional with extensive experience personal and professional integrity.
