New Hearing in Kochani Fire Trial

A new hearing in the Kochani fire trial was held on Wednesday. Kochani Municipality employee Dragi Ilijevski testified that it hadn’t been allowed for the Pulse nightclub to get a license to operate because it had been located in a zone for light and non-polluting industry. However, he added that he’d found out about its opening from talk around the city.

The Municipality didn’t send an inspector for insight because, as Ilijevski pointed out, there were no construction works around the area indicating there were activities to preadapt the space.

The hearing also saw one of the attorneys notify the Court that an initiative had been submitted to the new Prosecutor General, Saveski, for the charge to be re-examined. The process will continue on April 6.
