At the Q&A session of Parliament on Thursday, PM Mickoski was asked by VMRO-DPMNE MP Silvana Angeleska what his expectations were regarding Prosecutor General Saveski.
He said he expected him to take out all cases kept in a drawer over the past years and to analyze whether there was grounded suspicion of organized crime. The PM called on Saveski, to as he underlined, discover the truth as to how former Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva activated cases in the judiciary while she was behind bars and how a group of people were tried for terrorism (the April 27 case).
The PM also expects Saveski to take action regarding the case concerning bonuses for the Special Prosecutor’s Office.
In a press release, however, SDSM said Mickoski was directly interfering in the judiciary. VMRO-DPMNE rejected the accusations.
