DUI Reiterates Stand on Bar Exam, Constitutional Court Gets Opinion on Law

Despite Ombudsperson Selami’s comments about the initiative for taking the Bar Exam in the mother tongue, DUI’s Faton Pollozhani believes no legal changes are needed, i.e. the current legislation enables that too.

As he notes, the implementation of the Law on the Use of Languages, specifically the use of Albanian, reached its highest level during DUI’s term as the ruling party at a central and local level.

In the meantime, the Constitutional Court has said it has received the Venice Commission’s opinion on the Law, prepared jointly with the Directorate General on Democracy and Human Dignity.
