The Media Agency has conducted extraordinary supervision regarding the case of the performance by a 13-year-old girl, wearing a T-shirt containing a so-called Greater Albania map, of a song called “Albanian Territories”.
The performance, it points out, incites and spreads intolerance based on national and ethnic affiliation through irredentist symbols and explicit political messages. The fact that the footage and messages passed through the editorial filter of MTV2 without being removed indicates a serious and systemic failure in the planning and editing of the program, it points out.
