There will be no price increases for products from the baking and milling industry. That was the conclusion reached at Thursday’s meeting the Deputy Minister of Economy, Marjan Risteski, and the Director of the State Market Inspectorate, Vlatko Stojkoski, held with representatives of the milling and bakery industry representing the three economic chambers.
The Government said it would constantly monitor the situation and intervene if necessary.
SDSM, on the other hand, again called for immediate measures to prevent, as it noted, the announced increase in the price of bread and white baked produce.
In the meantime, at some bakeries in Shtip, Kochani, Prilep, and Bitola, there has been a 3-5-denar increase in the price of white bread. However, PM Mickoski, on Wednesday, said there would be fines if there was an unjustified increase in the price of bread and white baked produce.
