On Thursday, the Appellate Court session over the appeals by Ljupcho Palevski, Velibor Manev, Bore Videvski, and Vlatko Keshishev, sentenced to life imprisonment over the 2023 double murder of 14-year-old Vanja Gjorchevska and 74-year-old Panche Zhezhovski, was postponed.
The Judge who’s the rapporteur on the case, Lirie Elezi Ajrullau, said Videvski was unable to attend because he was hospitalized at the Nephrology Clinic. His attorney, Bojan Manev, stated that his client’s health condition had worsened. According to Manev, Videvski was taken to a doctor in August 2025 and again in March of this year.
The attorney assures that if Videvski is unable to attend the hearing, he will secure his consent. The Prosecutor’s Office, on its part, has appealed the acquittal of Vanja’s father, Aleksandar. The next hearing is scheduled for May 11.
