On Thursday, parents of children that were killed in the Kochani fire held a meeting in Skopje with Forensic Medicine Institute Director Aleksandar Stankov.
Regarding their demands for answers over the toxicological analyses from the autopsy procedures, Stankov stated that everything that had been requested following the 2025 Pulse nightclub tragedy had been completed, adding that the evidence would be publicly presented during the trial.
Thursday also saw a new hearing in the legal process. Among those that testified was an authorized environmental inspector at the Municipality Kochani Leta Georgievska.
The 2022 annual plan for inspection supervision covered the Klasik coffee place, which was when she found out that there was also an affiliate, Pulse. When she went to conduct regular supervision, she found the Klasik DM company had shut down. There was no new supervision at Pulse.
Among the other witnesses were fire survivors. One of them, Martin Dimitrov, said he hadn’t seen fire extinguishers. He also confirmed juveniles had been present.
