Orthodox Easter was observed throughout North Macedonia during the extended weekend. The central activities took place on Saturday and Sunday. President Siljanovska Davkova attended Saturday’s liturgy held at the Church of Saints Clement and Panteleimon in Ohrid.
“Let the holiday joy unite us and let it encourage us into mutual respect and understanding, giving us the strength to walk forward”, she said in her message on the occasion of the holiday.
PM Mickoski, too, underlined the importance of unity, while congratulatory messages on the same occasion were extended by numerous other politicians, including SDSM leader Filipche.
