With 67 votes in favor and 13 against, all by opposition MPs, Parliament established on Wednesday the need to pass changes to the Law on Government aiming to abolish the technical government concept.
SDSM demanded for the changes to be passed by consensus, just as they had been passed last decade, and not in the shortened procedure, according to the current proposal.
The European Front, too, is against the abolition of the so-called Przhino format. DUI MP Arbana Pasholli said everything passed by consensus and supported by the international community should be changed in the same way.
However, the ruling majority disagreed. VMRO-DPMNE MP and Coordinator Nikola Micevski asked why the opposition was against such a change, since, as he stated, the technical government concept was an outmoded solution.
