In an interview with Sitel, PM Mickoski’s message to MPs is to consult with constitutional and legal experts before passing the amendments to the law foreseeing ban on dual citizenship for lawmakers. Although the Parliamentary Group of his party, VMRO-DPMNE, is the one behind the proposed amendments, Mickoski appeals to it to carefully re-examine the text and determine whether it has legal soundness and logic.
When it comes to the proposal to abolish the Przhino format of government and SDSM’s stands, Mickoski says that even without SDSM, there is a quorum to pass the amendments to the Electoral Code.
Regarding Fetai, Mickoski points out that the DPM personally has notified him no longer sees himself as part of the cabinet in the future. The DPM plans to return to Brussels, where he has prior professional experience.
When it comes to the oil crisis, the PM says there will be new measures. Regarding Bulgaria, he is again critical of both SDSM and the eastern neighbor.
