On Saturday, DUI reacted to, as it said, information about construction activities near the cemetery in Blace. That, the party’s Imrane Veliu stated, is raising serious questions about the building’s purpose and the Government’s decisions related to the games of chance industry.
According to DUI, the public is disturbed by the construction work on a plot that, according to official data, is registered as the property of the Flamingo Casino’ company.
Veliu pointed out that if it was confirmed that it was a facility related to gambling, it would represent “one of the most irresponsible and insulting decisions” towards citizens.
“Cemeteries are not a place for a casino. They are places of dignity, peace, and respect”, she emphasized.
VLEN, however, said DUI was not exposing a problem, but rather tripping by its own trails.
“When DUI talks about casinos, Artan Grubi’s black box talks from the background”, the coalition noted.
The MAKOTEN company, too, reacted, saying its brand, Casino Flamingo, didn’t draw construction plots, nor did it engage in urban planning.
