Rade Trajkovski Sentenced to Eight Years in Prison

On Wednesday, in the trial of the organized criminal group for unauthorized production and trade of cocaine and marijuana, Rade Trajkovski (a.k.a. Shtekli) was sentenced to eight years in prison, while Stefan Kitanov, Aleksandar Buchevski, and Filip Tanevski got five years. Also, the Criminal Court sentenced Stojan Milanov to three years behind bars.

Initially, the case covered 16 people, seven of whom reached a settlement and received prison sentences of 3 to 3.5 years each, while four pleaded guilty and the procedure for them was separated.

According to the charge, the group operated from January 2024 to January 2025 and was organized well, with clearly defined roles, from the procurement to the sale of cocaine and marijuana. Trajkovski’s attorney, Aleksandar Novakovski, however, said he would appeal the sentence.
