More than 14,000 passengers from the country and abroad have entered Greece via the Bogorodica border crossing in the last 24 hours, the Interior Ministry said on Friday. At Evzoni, wait times reached up to an hour.
The majority of travelers heading to Greece were from Serbia and Kosovo. Sitel reported on Saturday that domestic tourists who had gone to Greece had said that that country had temporarily suspended the EES during the extended weekend. The EES entered into force on April 10.
