Parliament’s Committee on Election and Appointment Issues held a session on Tuesday, where there was a public debate for the presentation of candidates for the position of Judicial Council member. The seven candidates are: Shpresa Dauti, Feuzi Xhaferi, Sabedin Dauti, Artim Islami, Fadil Xhelili, and Fatmir Emrulau.
All candidates promised that, if elected, they would restore trust in the judiciary without partisan pressures and business influence.
The Committee will form a ranking list based on the personal competences of the candidates, their answers to the questions asked during the debate, as well as based on their personal and professional integrity.
