The Council of Public Prosecutors works on the basis of facts and evidence, not on the basis of political claims, and will not allow political influence on the actions by public prosecutors, the institution has said.
The Council presented that stand on Tuesday, following accusations against Prosecutor Kolarevikj and Islam Abazi, head of the Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption, by representatives of the Government and VMRO-DPMNE over the decision on the Mazut case.
DUI leader Ahmeti reiterated his party’s stand, especially in relation to VMRO-DPMNE MP Antonijo Miloshoski.
