VLEN co-leader Kasami has said that neither his party nor the Government has ever filed a request to Albania for Ambassador Denion Meidani to be withdrawn.Albania decides on that issue, he notes. However, he is critical of the Ambassador’s work.
According to him, Meidani should represent citizens more, i.e., he should protect the rights of ethnic Albanian citizens in North Macedonia more than “some political groups, which unfortunately can be noticed”.
Regarding the Ambassador’s public support for the Bar Exam protest, Kanal 5 has learned he was summoned to North Macedonia’s Foreign Ministry on Wednesday. However, according to the report, he did not attend the meeting, i.e., he sent his deputy, who received a verbal demarche regarding Meidani’s statements.
