Parliament Q&A Session: Equitable Representation and Bar Exam among Topics

The Q&A session of Parliament was held on Thursday. Among the topics was the issue of equitable representation. Answering a question about that matter, PM Mickoski said he knew many ethnic Albanians who didn’t want to see themselves from a percentage standpoint.

“They don’t want to see themselves that way. ‘I am not a percentage. I am competitive enough not to see myself from a percentage standpoint’”, he stressed.

Regarding the Bar Exam issue, the PM said when DUI was an opposition party, it wanted to create an ethnic conflict in an area where there was none, asking why Justice Ministers from the party, when they had been in power, hadn’t regulated the issue.

Regarding the constitutional changes issue, the PM said the position remained unchanged.

Among the other topics at the session was the issue of state borrowing. SDSM also leveled criticism at Interior Minister Toshkovski, urging him to resign over matters such as the suspicions of leaked classified information, the Marijuana case, and murder and domestic violence cases. However, Toshkovski refuted SDSM’s “unfounded” criticism, saying that, according to statistics, the Ministry’s results were the best they’d been since 2006.
