Regarding the spy issue related to President Siljanovska Davkova’s Cabinet and the IT engineer, the CODE program reports that, at the start, an individual using the pseudonym “Bosko Buha” (borrowed from the famous young Yugoslav partisan), sent a letter to several media, foreign embassies, and institutions.
The letter was marked as having been sent as a criminal charge to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption. The charge alleges the “existence of grounds for suspicion of an organized cover-up of crimes, espionage, abuse of official position, obstruction of an investigation, and endangering the security system of the Republic of North Macedonia and NATO”.
According to information “available to us”, there is reasonable suspicion that the person who was an IT administrator at the Cabinet for a significant portion of 2026, accessed confidential electronic data in an unauthorized manner, and copied, encrypted, and stored them on external data carriers with the intention of further handing them over to a foreign intelligence structure of Russia.
