Regarding the visit European Council President Costa will pay to North Macedonia on Tuesday (June 2), SDSM leader Filipche has said he expects him to warn the Government it should fulfil its obligation regarding the constitutional changes. At a press conference on Monday, he accused PM Mickoski of jeopardizing national interests by leaving the country as the “appendix” of the Balkans.
The SDSM leader also criticized the cabinet over the Reform Agenda. In that regard, he said it was doing nothing except for waiting for new deadline extensions.
However, Mickoski said the opposition demonstrated a lack of knowledge when it comes to the Reform Agenda, adding that the deadline expired on 30 June. He is very optimistic that both reforms in the so-called grace period and those that were part of the deadline at the end of June would be implemented at a level of at least 90%.
