On Sunday, SDSM held its 32nd programmatic Congress, under the motto “Your Country – Your Chance”.
Party leader Filipche, in his address sent messages about returning to original social democratic values, leveled criticism of the current government, and called for European integration to be accelerated.
As he assessed, the country is facing a historic opportunity for progress toward the EU. However, he warned that it risked falling behind its neighbors due to what he called an absence of a clear plan by the government.
The event saw the new ideological platform of the party presented as well. It is based on social justice, solidarity, fair taxation, strong institutions, and a European future, Filipche explained.
