On Wednesday, Agriculture Minister Cvetan Tripunovski survived the no-confidence motion filed against him by SDSM. There were 62 votes against, 21 in favor, and no abstentions.
The debate was marked by fierce accusations. SDSM’s MPs said Tripunovski had to resign, stressing that the VMRO-DPMNE-led government had brought agriculture to a catastrophic state, marked by corruption and blocked European funds.
On the other hand, the Minister dismissed the allegations as completely untrue, generalized, and a failed attempt to score political points.
